About Me
Hi, my name is Angie and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 20 years of experience helping families on their breastfeeding journey.
I qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2011, and recently re-certified in 2021. I have been an NHS employee since 2003, working in Community and Maternity settings as an Infant Feeding Specialist.
I have experience facilitating training to NHS staff, antenatal breastfeeding workshops and providing specialist support in the community setting. I have experience working on postnatal wards, neonatal units and paediatric wards in an infant feeding role.
I am passionate about supporting parents to reach their breastfeeding goals, giving tailored support in a non-judgemental way, empowering new mothers to give them the confidence to continue to breastfeed successfully.
I live in North London with my husband. I have two grown up daughters and two grandchildren. My own personal experience of breastfeeding motivated me to help other mothers to breastfeed successfully.
Breastfeeding Support
Adjusting to life with your new baby is a remarkable journey filled with awe and joy, but it can sometimes feel overwhelming. I aim to provide gentle guidance to help you navigate these crucial early weeks with confidence.
I offer private, in-home consultations to address any issues causing discomfort for you or your baby. Together, we'll create a practical, realistic plan to support your breastfeeding goals.
My support extends beyond our initial visit. The home consultation fee includes ongoing text support for two weeks and a feeding plan if needed. Breastfeeding can take time to establish and my aim is to give you confidence and awareness of what to expect in the early days . I will work with you to achieve and reach your feeding goals.
